Barcelona is dominated by Catalan cuisine. It is based around ingredients found along the Mediterranean coast. Because Catalonia is one of the main producers of swine in Spain, you can find a lot of pork dishes here, as well as seafood- based recipes. Barcelona is located in a beautiful and sunny region of Costa Brava. After an exhaustive day of sightseeing you can spend your day at a sandy beach.
